For families

A mother in Naples and a son in Munich. A father in Bulawayo and a daughter in Cape Town. A grandmother in Cebu and a granddaughter in Dubai. The distance is different every time. The problem is the same.

What you can ask for

Four kinds of help.

You do not need to know which profession solves your problem. Say what needs doing and Nuri works out who can do it.

Care & health

Someone to look after a person.

Caregiver · Nurse · Physio · Medication help

Home

Someone to look after a place.

Cleaning · Gardening · Repairs · Property checks

Admin & errands

Someone to stand in a queue so nobody else has to.

Bills · Government errands · Document collection · Shopping

Transport

Someone to get a person or a parcel there.

Rides · Appointment transport · Deliveries

Getting started

About a minute, and no forms.

Nuri asks what you came for, who the help is for, and what kind of help it is. Your account is created at the end, out of what you have already said.

Everything else waits until it matters. The address is asked when a cleaner needs to find the house. Health details are asked when a nurse is being booked. Payment details are asked at payment. Nuri should know far more about you after a month of use than it asks in the first minute.

  1. What do you need?

Help for yourself, or help for someone you look after.

  2. Who is it for?

Your parent, your grandparent, your child, your partner, someone else, or you.

  3. What kind of help?

The four groups above. You can pick more than one.

  4. Your name and number

So Nuri can tell you what is happening with your booking.

Once care is happening

What you see from wherever you are.

A care brief

The tasks, appointments and visits that make up the arrangement, in one place, instead of across three chat threads and a phone call to a cousin.

A record of the visit

The Pro records what they did while they are there. You get what was actually done, not a message saying everything is fine.

A care circle you control

Add a sibling, a neighbour, a doctor. Each of them sees only what you have given them, and you can take it back.

One place for the money

What was agreed, what has been paid, and what is still held. Nuri pays the Pro, so nobody in the family is chasing an invoice.

Work that holds up on a bad connection

A Pro recording a visit with no signal does not lose it. It queues on their phone and syncs when the connection comes back. Nothing shows as done until it is.

Being straight with you

Two things are not in place yet.

Not yet in place

Identity and background checks on Pros. Nuri’s approval process is built around them, and they are not running yet. They will be before Nuri opens to families. Until then nobody should treat a Nuri profile as a vetted one.

Payment protection. Money held on booking and released on completion is how Nuri will work. No money moves through Nuri today.

You cannot book care today

Nuri is not open. If your parent needs someone this week, arrange it another way. Tell us where you are and who you are helping, and we will write to you when Nuri can do something about it.
